Vegan, Eco-Friendly, Sweatshop-Free, and Fashionable? Now that’s Vaute.
Launched in 2009 as an answer to winter woes of being cold and unfabulous, founder Leanne Mai-ly Hilgart took 8 months to develop the first limited line, which proved superior to most wool, silk, and other materials commonly used in winterwear.
Vaute Couture has already attracted celebrity fans including Alicia Silverstone and Ginnifer Goodwin with it’s luxe coats constructed from Polartec, Tagua Nut (vegetable ivory) and other earth-friendly materials. In addition to outerwear, Vaute Couture also brings us several noteworthy tees and tanks with a fashionable message.
